All applications are reviewed by the City Council’s Administration and Finance Subcommittee, and presented to the City Council for award during the annual budget approval. The program is an important way that the City supports the activities of Malibu's many excellent charitable, volunteer and philanthropic organizations. The grants are awarded each year to local non-profit organizations whose efforts benefit the community.
